friday greetings, friends! as you read this i’m up north in the bay area styling and shooting the latest batch of vintage goods we’ve shipped home from france for super marché. i’m super excited to get them up in the shop — we found some really lovely and unique pieces on our last trip. this week my friday finds feel a little avant-garde, perhaps, but i’m hoping you get as inspired by them as i have. see you on monday!

xo, victoria

  1. i just love the Copenhagen home office of Marie Nipper, the director of Liverpool’s Tate gallery and museum — so naturally she’s got an enviable aesthetic. featured on nordic design, i recommend taking in a lovely view of her entire home.
  2. i like the interesting contrast of British artist caroline popham’s painting which is rather modern and graphic, but framed in such an elegant vintage gold frame. makes it extra special, i think! for more of caroline’s work visit her website.
  3. this incredibly beautiful bedroom looks almost like a disco dance space (check out that fabulous floor!) converted into a glamorous sleeping space.
  4. i’m kind of an architecture buff, so i follow quite a few instagram accounts of that nature. this amazing shot by @helinbereket of a building in beirut really caught my attention – beautiful in its kind of celebratory decay.
  5. i’m pretty excited for emily nathan’s new book My Tiny Atlas: Our World Through Your Eyes from ten-speed press. she shared a sneak peek on instagram that looks utterly delicious (pun intended) and we’ll be sharing more as it becomes closer to publication but you can pre-order it now.
  6. i’m just mad for this lighting fixture! it’s either a Table lamp or wall lamp designed by Isabelle Gilles and Yann Poncelet for PAON for the Colonel shop. it’s simply so unique and it can be custom made to fit your specs. brilliant!
  7. i have a thing for still life photography, and this image by paris-based Creative director Clarisse Demory is just dreamy to me. so many textures and the color palette makes me unreasonably happy. another has a wonderful feature on clarisse if you’d like to know more.
  8. how extra dreamy is this very feminine blush bedroom? sweet dreams indeed! photographed by kate sears there isn’t much i could find to fault (if anything at all) with this pale pink paradise.
