hollywood spanish revival.

even though i love my home, i’ve often fantasized about owning a beautiful old spanish revival home california is so well-known for. built in the 20’s, the neighborhoods around los angeles are filled with them, their terracotta rooftops dotting the hillsides, glowing at golden hour. much like this lovely light-filled home built in 1926 and featured on dwell, these homes have so many beautiful architectural features like large arched windows, open beamed ceilings and hardwood and tile floors that i’d love to get my hands on and put my own personal touches on. this beautiful home in the Hollywood Dell “is a best-kept secret, a small-town pocket in the heart of the city” according to Cuffhome, the design firm who designed and renovated this beauty. i love the touches of blush that accentuate the beauty of the existing terracotta — for the full home tour visit dwell.
