one of the reasons i painted the exterior of my house black is because i really love the way greenery takes a shine when contrasted with black. everything just pops and looks that much greener. it’s the same, i think, for black steel-framed windows and doors. i really, really want to put these kinds of floor to ceiling black industrial french doors in my kitchen and bedroom out to my garden and i think you can see why — they just frame a garden so beautifully. i think they’re on the more expensive side of the spectrum, so i may have to settle for a more traditional french door, but painted black i think i’ll almost get the look.

I love windows!! I can’t live without natural light inside the house. I recently moved back to Gran Canaria and purchased a house that only have windows at the front, trying to find solutions to make he back side lighter.
The link to steel doors leads you to Home Depot wood doors – can you please correct?
oops. sorry about that. all fixed!
I still see the Home Depot door link too and would love to know where to get the steel version. Thanks!
Kim, try clearing your cache and refreshing your browser. I fixed it. There are also several different resources for steel doors so I would google them in your area to compare prices.
It’s the other link. It will take you here:
