today we’re headed to spain, one of my very favorite countries, and specifically to Sevilla, which i’ve yet to visit! but now i have a new reason, because i’d love to dine at this beautiful spot, el pintón near the Giralda, the bell tower of Seville Cathedral and one of the highlights of the city. if you like gorgeous tiles and spanish tapas served in a typical Sevillian courtyard, this is where you need to be. the decor is sublime — pastel hues blend in with those pretty archways, so we’re going to dress the part in a flowy pale pink dress and pastel print kimono, strappy sandals and a turban-like headband, just for fun. should you find yourself waiting for your table, think about reading a few pages of Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens. it’s is everything a good book should be — an exquisite ode to the natural world, a heartbreaking coming-of-age story, and a surprising tale of possible murder.
