the art of the arch.

an arch can make all the difference — easily taking a dull room to dramatic with one very beautiful architectural element. so smooth and pleasing to the eye, right? whether they’re arched alcoves, doorways, windows or some other architectural wonder, i find the curve of an arch is just so special — like it took just a little more effort to achieve. when i remodeled my bathroom, i created a built-in, arched shelving unit in the bathroom for towels and other bath accouterments and i think it made all the difference. here’s a whole bunch of lovely arches to inspire you to perhaps go that extra mile and give yourself a pretty arch next time you remodel.
