after visiting this unforgettable open house, and leanne ford’s little cabin in the big city, i’ve just been overcome with the desire for open beamed ceilings and interiors with a warm, rustic bent. maybe i’ve been exposed to too much of what i keep hearing being called ‘over-styled spaces’ and am craving a more eclectic look, which has really always been my real jam anyway. these inspiring spaces have got the rustic chic look down pat — not ‘cabin rustic’ but rather a much more Mediterranean vibe. now if i could just figure out how to gut ALL my ceilings and expose every beam in sight, i’d be a happy camper!
