globe light fixture in modern living room. / sfgirlbybay

happy friday, one and all! it’s been a hectic week getting back into the swing of things after my holiday away in italy and then my super marché shopping trip in france. i’m not complaining one little bit, though — the trip was most inspiring and once again after being abroad i feel like redecorating! this week’s friday finds indicate where my head’s at — unique looking eclectic spaces mixing and matching a whole host of unexpected design genres. enjoy your weekend and i’ll see you back on monday!

  1. i’m blown away by this other worldly looking lighting fixture from dimore studio. it’s like a solar system all your very own which would require quite a lot of space, but i can admire it from afar.
  2. on a much smaller scale, this is a lovely pendant lamp at the very beautiful Hôtel Les Roches Rouges located on a dreamy Mediterranean beach in the Côte d’Azur. i love the whole cozy little hotel nook. take me there, and soon.
  3. here’s another gorgeous hotel to put on our wish lists — the Little Beach House Barcelona featured on one of my favorite travel resources — afarmedia. if you don’t follow them i highly suggest you do!
  4. galerie half is a very inspiring los angeles-based instagram account for me — loaded with uniquely collectible vintage pieces i can only dream of making my own. i love all the beautiful lighting in this gorgeous space.
  5. i so admire @anneclaire.rohe’s beautiful, eclectic new york home, chock-filled of vintage treasures. anne-claire is a Fashion and Still Life Photographer based in NYC and another instagram account worth following.
  6. we’ve featured @kawa_heart_studio amazing home on the blog before, but i never tire of her lovely studio space. those fabulous windows get me everytime and i love how simply it’s decorated — the appreciation for the light just makes center stage.
  7. i love this this eclectic art collection and i especially like how uniquely it’s spaced along the wall — there’s enough distance between the art pieces that they really stand out on their own, as much as a cohesive collection.
  8. this is such a sweet little desk set-up featured in yet again, another gorgeous french family home on the socialite family — one of my very favorite design blogs, always sharing the most unique french home tours.
