it’s quite true that i can’t read a word of this book written in french (well maybe a couple — like très jolie and oh la la!) but it is just too beautiful to pass by. one can always ogle at all the inspiring photographs of stunning french interiors with no trouble at all. i think you’ll like this lovely new decor book, sous les toits de paris which translates to ‘under the roofs of paris’ — right up my alley! update: i found the english version: Maison: Parisian Chic at Home.
every page is as beautiful as the next, and i even recognize some of these spaces from around the internet and the pages of a few french decor magazines, like milk decoration and Côté maison. i think you’ll find this book by Inès de La Fressange and Marin Montagut and illustrated by Claire Cocano just so charming and one you’ll want to add to your decor library! here’s a sneak peek at a few of my favorites images from its pretty pages.

I! Any id of where come from this beautiful daybed ?
I don’t, but it almost looks like a patio lounge chair that they created a mattress for. Could be done! :)
