hurrah for the weekend! whatcha got planned? i have a friend visiting so we’ll most likely be running around town, sharing some of my favorite spots. i’ve been dying to get back to this gourmet french store monsieur marcel located in l.a.’s original farmer’s market, so that’s a must on my agenda. this week’s friday finds seem to be leaning toward’s the ever-inspiring stylist’s eye, so let’s see what i’ve found for you. have a happy weekend!

xo, victoria

  1. erica tanov is one of my favorite shops and her designer’s eye is just so spot-on. she not only designs beautiful clothing but also offers homewares, both new and vintage on her site. i love this white appliqué quilt and it’s also styled perfectly.
  2. speaking of vintage treasure hunting, generally worn is another great resource, especially for clothing and small homewares. i’m also really inspired by her styling techniques, as well — this particular image is so summery!
  3. this very casual seating situation is just extraordinaire! they’re woven squab cushions from indie home collective and i’d love to curl up with a good book here and preferably poolside.
  4. every time i see this bedroom designed by studio indigo and its amazing wall mural, i contemplate what it might look like behind my own headboard. it’s just got a very beachy, but sophisticated vibe that i love.
  5. this melon painting by byron bay, australia artist emma gale just makes me smile — right? it’s just so cheerful. check out emma’s lovely online gallery for loads more beautiful art pieces and follow her on instagram.
  6. there’s something just so charming about this small, styled vignette and wire bookshelf and mobile. featured in milk magazine the entire home is very whimsical and fun — have a peek.
  7. i’ve long been a fan of vintage collectors homestead seattle and once again it’s probably got a lot to do with the fact that i truly admire their curation and styling skills. this lovely space is a prime example of their sublime sensibility.
  8. okay, one last one — i’m really into styling in this post, and this charming kitchen is just another example of when it’s done right. @astylistsguide from sam pothier is another instagram (with a website coming soon) that you might like to follow for more styling inspiration.

  1. OMG, that apartment belonging to Ms. Pfung! Anyway you can find out who painted that incredible painting found in the photo to the right of the bedroom mural headboard wallpaper shot? Does not appear to be by Benoit Maire. And that photo not in her instagram feed, nor did I see it in the Milk instagram feed (although it could be buried).

You always find the coolest stuff Victoria!
