i’ve been seeing this trend gaining traction for some time now and i’m not at all unhappy about it. meet the art deco bed — with its feminine curves and refined vintage vibe. i’m not sure if it started with the beautiful and sophisticated bed suites at hotel panache, or somewhere else, but the bed below certainly was shared around instagram and pinterest with gusto. you can resource the look online from upholstered headboards like anthropologie’s Feather Collection Bed, urban outfitters’s Marcella Velvet Bed, west elm’s Lana Upholstered Bed and the Demilune Bed, (of which i co-designed the fabric) from the inside. and if you like the cane headboards try industry west’s version or this pretty bamboo version from kouboo when it comes to color palette, think pale pinks, soft greens and blues, and perhaps some black accents and a killer light fixture for a perfect ‘steal this look’.

Those beds are so fun! I love the sharp bold lines!

Hello! I really need to know where that very first bed is from?! The one in the image beneath the title but above the text! Thank you!
Hi Liv,
The site doesn’t list the source, but I googled ‘Art Deco Curved Cane Headboard’ and found a few. That one is truly unique!

I adore the bed second from bottom, but can’t seem to find the original photo – can you help? I am keen to understand if this is a custom headboard.
i’m sorry – looks like they’ve made this website private, so we can no longer access it. :(
This is brilliant. What a great post, thank you!
