it may be the weekend, but there will be no rest for me. packing up and moving is no joke and i’ve got a lot to sort through — what to keep, what to donate and what should i sell? i’m going to do an online sale in my instagram stories very soon, so stay tuned for that. but with all the nitty-gritty details of selling my home and packing up, i’ll probably only be able to do local pick-up in L.A., so sorry about that! maybe i can ship small items! here’s to this week’s friday finds which seem to be feeling a little green!

xo, victoria

  1. i’m really into this space age-looking dining space shared by the fabulous stylist megan morton. i think it only looks a little ‘spacey’ because that amazing table looks like it’s about to get beamed up, and i love it!
  2. i love everything about this daring and quirky kitchen. it would hard to be unhappy about cooking in this cheerful space and the color blocking here takes it to a whole new unique level.
  3. this dining space has color blocking of a different kind and in this case it’s cleverly accentuating the pretty arch with a dash of peach paint which compliments the green kitchen splendidly. those tile floors are pretty darn fabulous, too.
  4. inside closet posted a beautiful home tour of jamini founder usha’s french abode and i especially loved this pretty bathroom and it’s color palette — looks like a soothing spot for a bubble bath.
  5. you know how i love a vintage painting portrait living alone in a sweet little nook and this lovely home set on a rose farm is now available to rent on Airbnb. looks like a good spot to curl up with a copy of little women.
  6. i kind of adore this charming little bathroom storage situation, and i’m quite sure the pretty green vintage tiles are what’s drawing me in, but the whole look is rather perfect.
  7. from my own super marché comes this adorable vintage schoolhouse armchair — the perfect place to style a stack of your favorite books. also the perfect time to let you know our latest container from france arrives in a couple of weeks!
  8. this is what i like to call ‘celebratory decay’ — for some unknown reason a little peeling paint can set my heart aflutter and this color palette featured on elle decoration is just delightful.

  1. Hi Victoria! I just realized Hotel Joaquin which you had written about is in Laguna Beach! You give us the best places to visit. Plus, Kerry Kassill has some lovely linens at her store in Laguna beach. Well, I think I know what I’ll do for a long weekend!
Hope the move goes well for you!
