i can feel the weather changing, getting cooler and cozier, so i thought what better time than beautiful autumn to pop on over to londontown? and this rustic cozy cafe looks like the perfect spot to spend some quality tea time. housed in one of jolly olde England’s most historic buildings (dating back all the way to 1658!) in hackney is jolene, a lovely little bakery, restaurant, and chic wine bar. with hand-written daily menus it’s things like this that endear us to its old world meets modern day charm. we’re going to get our classic london plaids out with a Double-Breasted Blazer, a casual linen vest and comfy hi-rise jeans, paired with some good old doc martens and soft, cashmere beanie and scarf. london’s a city constantly shifting and changing so we suggest picking up one of my favorite guide’s — the wallpaper* London city guide as a trustworthy source of what’s new and noteworthy.

  1. I know this post was about keeping it warm. But as a furniture designer I am constantly looking for inspiration and I just loved the interior shots of those cafes. I love all things rustic, great photo’s.
