perhaps it’s because of my move seaside, but this lovely cape cod style home featured on the maryn captured my interest right away. there’s loads of these beauties in my neighborhood, too, but this one is on the island of Vinalhaven, and is occupied by the owners of marston house, an antique shop (online, too) and architectural design project run by married couple Sharon and Paul Mrozinski. i think the love the two have put into their charming abode is apparent and while it’s cozy, it’s not overtly nautical — just the right amount, i’d say. it’s got that beautiful sun-bleached look, enhanced by the white slip-covered furniture and whitewashed shiplap. for the full tour and more about the couple, visit the maryn.
