in the words of R.E.M., this old church has literally lost its religion and been lovingly transformed into a charming family home in Queensland, Australia. vintage shop-owner Cheryl Carr who runs albert & grace and her family have restored and repurposed this beautiful former church, but leaving much of its original soul intact — like those lovely stained glass lancet windows and those beautiful arched ceilings and exposed beams. shiplap painted white has brightened up the old place and cheryl has decorated the space with a mix of found vintage pieces, bright modern lighting and rustic homewares. for the full tour of this very special home, visit homes to love.
