happy weekend, one and all! are you rushing around doing your holiday shopping, or starting to slow down and slide into holiday vacation mode? i’m not one to shop ’til i drop, and i’m already feeling like shutting things down and just lounging about, reading and relaxing and spending time with family and friends. i don’t know about you, but once thanksgiving hits i’m ready to just take it a little bit easier. i hope you find some quality ‘me’ time this weekend!

  1. this minimal home art gallery really inspires me. i love the wide open spacing and the color palette, too. it’s just very soothing to look at, and a really beautiful and relaxing dining space.
  2. i love an olive tree and this styling is so simple and lovely. makes me want to gift olive trees to friends and family this year — quite literally extending an olive branch seems like a nice, sentimental idea.
  3. this is such an enviable little office nook, isn’t it? i think it looks like such a cozy but practical use of a small space, and it looks as though you could be quite inspired here, too.
  4. this is such a fun vintage portrait collection, and i like how they’re not even framed, but just simply hung without a lot of fanfare — just beautifully standing out all on their very own.
  5. a friend is remodeling his kitchen so i’ve been seeing kitchen sinks everywhere since talking with him about his design ideas. this rustic farmhouse sink is super cool, and i like the idea of hunting vintage sinks at the local salvage yard.
  6. this pretty kitchen from amber interiors is super charming. i love a good (and very useful) kitchen stool and we’ve got some really cute ones at super marché right now if you like ’em, too — great bentwoods and a simple rustic stool.
  7. i love this well-worn kitchen knife collection and especially like the interesting way of the magnetic knife holder running vertically versus a traditional knife holder wich is usually horizontal. très chic.
  8. this dining space with its charming mismatched vintage chairs is really pretty as well as very warm and welcoming. i think that’s the ikea doksta dining table, too which is so affordable and looks great paired with the vintage mix.
