i came across this gorgeous australian country home photographed by marnie hawson on pinterest and knew it was one that would be an inspiring start to 2020. it’s the very charming home of Melbourne-based interior stylist, Lynda Gardener, a designer after my own heart, and a definite must-follow on both pinterest and instagram. lynda’s style leans towards an eclectic, vintage-modern mix and her personal style is pretty inspirational as well (with some super great hair!). not only does she design incredible spaces with her partner Belle Hemming Bright at inside story studio but she rents out many of her holiday properties as well. i’m so happy to have stumbled upon both photographer marnie hawson’s work (more on that soon!) and lynda’s boundless creativity, too. here’s to many more finds like this one in this new decade!

Both Lynda and Kara Rosenlund are organizing fund raising for wildlife that’s being devastated by the fires in Australia- if you follow their insta accounts you can get the info .
Cool space. Where is the floor mirror from?
I’m not sure because this home is in Australia, but Rejuvenation has some similar mirrors:
