hey guys, i hope you’re all doing as well as can be expected under our current quarantine. i’m hanging in there, but haven’t been feeling great — it’s not corona-related — just a bad migraine-like headache and so it’s painful to wear my glasses and look at the computer screen. and so i’m going to dial back for the week. but, i’ve posted lots of “best of posts” based on what i thought might be helpful and inspiring for you this week. in the meantime, i’m laying low in my little cottage. they’ve closed the beaches and parks here in laguna, so i’m very grateful for our large backyard. stay safe, stay healthy and please stay home.

  1. Rest up and Be well Victoria. Thank you for thinking of us and keeping us supplied with endless visual delights while we navigate this bump in the road.

  2. I hope you feel better soon Victoria. I sell on Poshmark and am so missing the hunt of looking for clothes and shoes to put on my site. Of course everywhere is closed so I’m listing all the things I have not felt the urge to put up. Netflix, some reading, texting with friends and family, and some good white wine are keeping me semi-sane. Spent many a day at Laguna beach and at least it’s one of the prettiest places to be confined to.

    Wishing you well as always,

    • Thank you so much, Patricia. I’m feeling lots better and just trying to stay inspired around the house. I’m sad they’ve closed the beaches here, because it’s been a saving grace, but it’s for the good of everyone! Stay healthy!

  3. Wishing you well Victoria … pray you are feeling much better soon !
Thank you so very much for continuing to share all of these lovely pictures and items that encourage our hearts … these are trying times for sure, for all of us. Keep healthy and strong. Jayne

  4. You bring me such joy. I look forward to any photos you post.
You are the first spring bird singing and the snow melting in the mountains..(Note- I’m wired from 2 1/2 coffees). Long winters here in Sun Valley as I continue to look for your posts and redecorate my 750″ house over and over.
    Take care of yourself.

  5. I’m kind of bummed about the IKEA stools that you have in these pictures. I have a couple. I had just developed a great hack for them, only to discover that they were discontinued when I wanted to act on that idea. Anyway, IKEA here is closed so I could not have acted on that plan even if they were not discontinued.
I guess I’ll have to save and upgrade to the Aalto version.
    Stay safe.

  6. Love your beautiful place, Victoria. Every detail is exquisitely curated, but in a no-fuss way. Thank you for bringing light and beauty to all of us. Your photography skills are amazing. Perhaps a video course in rechnique if we are sheltering in place for ages?

I hope you are feeling better.

    • Thank you, Vicky. I feel very lucky to have moved here. I’m not the best at video, but perhaps this is a chance to learn!

I’m feeling a bit better, too – thank you!
