whattaya say when this quarantine is all over we pop over to paris for a bit of dancing and a bite? ouí, we shall, indeed. today we’re headed to la brasserie barbès, an industrial-chic bar & restaurant located in the 18th arrondissement in the marvelous district of Montmartre. With its four floors — including a patio and rooftop with panoramic paris views, Brasserie Barbès invites you to gather your best friends for French brasserie-style cuisine — think croquettes and escargot paired with a refreshing kir royale. we’re getting a little parisian chic today, pairing a fun jumpsuit over pale green sheer blouse, and a light jacket just in case there’s a chill in the paris air. add some sassy black dancing boots and bag with a whole lotta flair and we’re ready for a night out. before you head out for the evening, i suggest a ‘disco nap’ and perhaps a little light reading — i loved the the nest by cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney. a quirky story about the power of family, the possibilities of friendship, the ways we depend upon one another, and the ways we often let one another down without really meaning to.
