longing for a feminine, but not over-the-top girly bathroom? then this is the post for you. i think right now, even more than ever a personal sanctuary is almost required to keep our sanity in quarantine. if you’ve seen my old bathroom in my L.A. home, you know i love a black and white bathroom, but i think even with a classic look like that, you can still add funky and feminine touches — vintage mirrors, sketches and portrait paintings, for instance, add an interesting and artistic twist. a vintage stool looks chic next to the tub — and a stylish spot for your favorite scented candles, and perhaps some pretty healing crystals. be sure to add the softest bath towels for a touch of luxury. and if you’re kids are sharing your bath, you might consider a gentle reminder, like this wash your hands sign — it’s cute, but practical!

  1. Gosh, I love them all! I especially love the smooth light grey cement or stone counter. With the vintagey curvy mirrors and brass lighting, it is at once beautiful, substantial, calming and slightly quirky.
Great ideas for my future dream bathroom remodel!
