well, i’m still here. it’s looking like california could be on stay at home orders until the end of july — at least that’s what’s been announced for los angeles county, so i’m thinking it will be the same for orange county where i live now, too. i’m somewhat used to it since i work from home, but i definitely feel for all of you working from home and taking care of your kids and working your jobs, too. it takes a toll, and i hope you can safely get outside a little bit this weekend for some fresh air. i’m sharing some hopefully inspiring spaces with you today to help get you inspired and out of the same old, same old. have a restful weekend if possible!

xo, victoria

  1. dreamy dining room goals that’s what we’ve got right here. i’m always a fan of a saarinen dining table and chairs, but i think achieving this fabulous look┬áprobably requires moving into a beautiful paris apartment. never say never, right?
  2. the apartment by the line is always inspiring me with their interior styling, and their showroom featured on suitcase’s city guide to west hollywood is no different. if you’re ever in the neighborhood i highly suggest a visit to the line.
  3. i love some of the new collections coming from cb2 these days, and their new indoor/outdoor trieste bistro table has me wondering where i might squeeze this into my tiny cottage. maybe i need to redecorate (already?!). it’s so sleek — with soft, rounded edges and a curvy pedestal base, it’s made of cement is treated with a faux white marble finish that fools the most discerning eye.
  4. i love everything about this little vignette. lovely styling and i love elephants, and i’m really into glass beads as accessories lately. i have some black glass beads from st. frank and i love them — either hanging on a wall or displayed in a decorative bowl on your coffee table.
  5. i love this feature shot by jessica comingore of ensoie founders and designers Eleonore Meier and Rafael Palacio’s home. this large format print of dustin hoffman is an easy DIY idea — simply blow-up a vintage print for chic art.
  6. i’ve always loved a vida portuguesa’s (one of my favorite shops in lisbon) beautiful black swallow wall decorations and just ordered some more. The image of this beautiful and joyful bird, known to be brave and faithful, touched the Portuguese heart and, throughout the 20th century, was adapted by handcrafts and used in fa├žades, balconies, and domestic interiors throughout the country.
  7. i just love the venue report for great travel tips and guides and specifically this guide to central california — the photography is sublime and has me itching for a road trip. it’s a great site if you’re seeking an event or wedding location, too.
  8. if we’re forced into working at home for a while longer, wouldn’t it be nice if we could toil the day away at this sun-drenched desk? i might even suffer through it without complaint.
