is it friday, already? yes it would appear to be, just in time for this week’s friday finds. this time i’m rounding up some lovely work from a few favorite designers and blogs that i love showcasing from time to time. we’re so fortunate to have the internet for that purpose — without it we’d miss an awful lot of inspiration! have a relaxing weekend, everyone, and stay safe out there.

  1. this is no ordinary kitchen cutout (or pass-thru) designed by dor design house from Bri Ussery, the Austin-based creative behind East Co. boutique. i love the unexpected shape and the peek through at the lovely art collection.
  2. this modern Mediterranean home designed by three birds renovations was recently featured on coco kelly and i love every inch of it. i’m very into these plush, modular sofas lately and this one is beautiful. love the photo print, too!
  3. this is an Arigato wall Lamp from grupa featured on @heimatbaum’s lovely home. i love the sleek modern lamp paired with the rustic bookshelf ‘box’. a great idea for a DIY fruit crate, too.
  4. this is another wonderful lighting situation designed by hunter & folk, and oh how i love that chair. the entire look is gorgeous — i do love a vintage-modern pairing and the antique credenza looks so good here.
  5. here i go again crushing on @misterjasongrant but i just love this mismatched mix of textiles, throws and bedding in his bedroom. and who doesn’t love a kangaroo print? smashing look, all of it.
  6. you know i have a weakness for oversized paper lanterns and this one looks perfect in this rather wabi-sabi dining space belonging to simone polk dahl featured on my Scandinavian home. it almost feels like it lives as much outside and on the inside and i’ll bet it looks beautiful at night.
  7. isn’t this just the most the ideal reading spot? featured on camille styles i love the lush banana palm, the view, and that most exquisite woven lounge chair.
  8. CB2’s new outdoor Trieste Bistro table is so stunning it looks almost too nice for outdoors! made of a faux white marble matte finish and a truly unique shape — i really don’t see why it couldn’t be used both inside and out.
