i know it seems like just yesterday, but yep, it’s already friday again. the days kind of blur together lately — it’s a bit like the movie groundhog day. this week’s friday finds are rather inspired by relaxation. time in the garden, long soaks in the tub, a great spot to read — all things we can do while stuck at home at relatively little cost. just free, pure stress-less enjoyment. have a restful weekend one and all!

  1. i’ve got a mad crush on these vintage backyard vibes from Marie Olsson Nylander of mo interior. those striped lounge chairs are just so much fun. i may have to recover my lounge to get this look. that umbrella looks like its seen some good times in the sun, too!
  2. there’s just something about this pretty image from the modern house that puts me in a cheerful mood. those lovely vines making their way across the wall and the pretty potting table just make me want to get out and start gardening.
  3. i love the pretty home of fashion designer keren craig, one of the founders of marchesa. photographed by nicole franzen for eyeswoon it’s a barn-turned-family-home. doesn’t this spot look idyllic for reading all day long?
  4. have you ever smelled scented geraniums? they smell divine and remind me of my first visit to Copenhagen’s beautiful shop the apartment dk. they had one blooming inside and the fragrance was heavenly — i highly recommend adding one to your plant collection!
  5. this vintage-modern inspired garden has me hankering for more time in the garden, too. i just love the unexpected contemporary look of it all. good design all around.
  6. what did furniture designer eric trine do when he found out the pool in the house he’d just purchased was in need of major and very costly repairs? he painted swimming pool pink and turned it into a lush playground for his girls! i just love the jungleland look.
  7. Decor magazine publisher Laureen Rossouw’s beautifully serene bathing room featured on architectural digest espana has me thinking about soaking my cares away. some lovely vintage vibes here, too — i love the antique mirrors and clawfoot tub.
  8. i’ve always dreamed of having an enclosed or screened-in porch, much like this beauty photographed by @carlaypage is just swoon-worthy. i fear if i ever plopped down with a good book i may never get up again. someone fetch me an ice-tea, would you?
