i think with everything 2020 has put us through, we could all use any distractions we can get, and one of mine is definitely getting outside, whether it’s an early walk on the beach or spending time in my garden. sadly, so many are being affected by these wildfires and heat, which is making getting out in mother nature even more difficult right now. but if you can spend time in your garden, or even bring a little of the outside into your homes, i think those little green gestures can go a long way to lift our spirits. if you can forage from your yard, or a nature trail, or get safely to your local nursery, right now might be a nice time to tend to a little inside herb garden, or add a small tree to your home, or even create a little outside oasis for yourself. and if you can, plant a small container garden outside. here’s to the healing properties of the great outdoors. stay safe everyone.
