happy weekend one and all! i hope you’ve got some relaxing plans ahead (or lack of plans!). i’m feeling fall upon us, and i’ve got a stack of good books to read and a few home projects going on — all my favorite ways to spend time indoor as the weather starts to cool. i hope you like this week’s friday finds which are rather vintage-inspired and offer up some fun alternative storage ideas. enjoy a peaceful weekend!

  1. this is such a soothing space and the whole home tour is really inspiring. i quite like this little nook with this sweet bench and mismatched pillows and textiles. i also love a pretty indoor olive tree!
  2. this charming bathroom is giving me all the cozy vibes. i really love these doors with their half-moon windows and the vintage patina green cabinets. not surprising it’s the home of Freelance interiors photographer debi treloar who has excellent taste.
  3. this home office situation looks like a lovely spot to get some serious work done. i’m also a huge fan of these vintage mid-century modern wicker chairs. the whole vibe is just pure serenity.
  4. this bathroom is simply sublime. featured on the socialite family, i love the big, huge antique armoire for bathroom storage as well as the little drum tables. it’s all quite charming.
  5. vintage lockers always have my heart and are a practical but wonderful looking storage solution, too. not only do they look great but have so much space for storing away all those unsightly cleaning supplies, and in an entry like this, a perfect place to hang winter coats and boots.
  6. this is probably one of my very favorite vintage chairs and one day i’ll splurge for one. it’s a mid-century modern bruno mathsson karin chair and i just love its kind of nerdy coolness and it looks really comfy, too.
  7. i love everything about this pretty living room but most especially the glass door entrance. i think these vintage doors of the past should be brought back in a big way. the armoire is again at the center of attention here, and a great spot to hide the telly!
  8. this is a super inspiring studio visit in hamburg, germany of Ini Neumann and her ceramics label We are Studio Studio brought to us by herz and blut, one of my favorite blogs, and photographers. do have a look!
