it’s finally the end of a long week and i’m back after my holiday break with a new bunch of friday finds. i appear to be leaning in the direction of plant life meets interior decor today and i’m okay with that. i hope you are too! i haven’t gotten around to getting a christmas tree this year and it may never happen, so this may have to suffice for now! i’ve been pretty busy, and one thing i’ve added to my projects is my new email journal — you might like to sign up! have a great weekend, one and all!

xo, victoria

  1. i love everything about this Australian beach home. the exposed brick fireplace, the rustic whitewashed floors, but those painted checked floors are even better. the whole place feels light, airy and so welcoming.
  2. the home of Swedish architect Andreas Martin-Löf featured on nordic design is most enviable, but it’s this large, over-sized art print in the dining room that i’m coveting the most. it just makes such a clean but bold statement.
  3. danish interior designer Susanne Rützou’s lovely living room is an eclectic lover’s dream come true. i love all the mismatched elements, and the display of vintage mirrors reflecting all that light is brilliant.
  4. this home tour of editorial director and uber-stylish sacha strebe on bed threads is a good read and an inspiring one for sure. her home has all the unique, personal features that make her home truly her own — i love this stacked collection of her art books and personal treasures.
  5. those slouchy slip-covered sofas they seem to effortless achieve in europe always have my heart aflutter. i can’t seem to make a draped look like this one look quite right, and not just like i’ve covered it up to be stored away. this one’s something to aim for.
  6. who knew stacked, empty pots could look so good? i just love everything about this stylish little vingette of old terra cotta pots paired with some great art prints and ceramics. my kinda jam!
  7. this beautiful rattan lounge chair is one i’d love to hunt down at the french flea markets for super marché. i did just restock the shop with some great vintage bamboo pieces, including some chairs, but i’ve got my heart set on finding one like this unique beauty!
  8. artist peter dahl’s studio in cozy stockholm is just dreamy. i especially love that rather prehistoric-looking tree that appears to be growing out of the space. it looks almost like a sculpture!
