sometimes, perhaps rather selfishly, i want to post just a series of beautiful images here that inspire me based around a general theme. i see these images pop up in my pinterest saves and there is very often a method to my madness, although i may not realize it at the time. then, all of a sudden i definitely see a pattern — a smattering of images with a similar vibe, if you will — or maybe it’s a common color palette. i thought it might be fun to share those images with you — well, just because. because i find them beautifully unique and i hope you will too. this time around it’s fruit. yep, fruit in all its glorious, natural beauty. styled simply, but oh so inspiring. and hey — good for you, too!

not selfish at all–in fact a generous gift of inspiration. this one is so beautiful and just what i needed to get me through a frigid, snow-covered day in nyc.
hurrah! :)
Love the images of fruit. The colors and the differences- perfect. Thank you!
Thanks, Dara!
This post is so refreshing. Whew.
If you like still lifes (still… lives? which? huh? I even went to art school and am not sure about this one) this IG account has been killing me lately. They post a beautiful still-life prompt, and then artists recreate it. I appreciate that they share all types of mediums, and a lot of great artists with under 1k followers. It’s definitely scroll-worthy!
