if you’ve ever met me, you’d probably guess that black is my favorite color. and yes, it’s a color! therefore, this week’s color story is all about everything darkly noir — or of the dark side. from black tiled walls to beautiful prints and even sculptures, black makes everything look rich and sophisticated! it’s contrasty and chic and just ultimately a classic that never goes out of style — just like the little black dress. here’s to black!

Black is my favorite color, and your selections are divine! Brava! ❤️
Your blog is beautiful but I have to say your image credits are absolutely infuriating. If you actually want to know what something is following the order clockwise from left to right on a blog roll is ridiculous, Then some do not have descriptions but just get listed at the end with no explanation. I’ve just spent 20 mins trying to work out the source of one photo. Exhausting. I am a fan of yours but surely there is a better way?
i can appreciate that it’s hard. i used to put the photo credits right beneath each picture and then readers complained it was distracting. i just can’t seem to win. i spend a lot of time tracking down the original source of each image i share (it takes hours!) and some blogs don’t share credits at all. i’ll think about other ways to make it clearer.
if you tell me which image, i’ll send you the link.
I’m with you on this. Black is a color, it’s awesome, sophisticated, rich, and completely necessary. And I wrap myself in it every day.
