how is it time for friday finds yet again? how is it already mid-may? time flies even when you’re cooped up in covid, it seems. but we’re almost getting our freedom and i for one am itching to get out of the house, and back to the flea markets! this week’s finds have a vintage slant, i’d say and i hope you find them inspiring. have a wonderful weekend, everyone.

  1. i’ve just recently stumbled upon this pretty blog from denmark, merneé and this feature on the copenhagen home is a good example of why — lovely home decor inspiration. this is the home of the owner of a japanese-inspired shop called the general store in copenhagen, which i’m going to do a deep dive into soon!
  2. one of my favorite french lighting designers in lyon-based woe and wee collection and i love their latest wall sconce installation at Tinah Paris, gorgeous apartments for rent in the 2nd arrondissement of paris. looks so cozy, doesn’t it?!
  3. i love everything about this beautifully tiled space — it’s taller silvestre photographed by coke bartrina, a charming homewares shop in madrid, spain. if you’re not traveling there any time soon, you can shop online, but i’m putting this beautiful place on my must-visit list.
  4. this is yet another gorgeous home and what i like about this is, again, the unexpected pairing of the very modern framed photographic print with the antique settee and contemporary lighting sconce. it’s all so simple and yet it works beautifully as a team.
  5. i’m still really into sculptures and i love this image photographed by romain laprade (and i love those vintage-looking draperies as a photo backdrop, too). our team keeps hunting the french flea markets for some good ones for super marché (and for moi).
  6. this is a simply gorgeous image of @galerie_half, one of L.A.s’ best high-end vintage shops taken by @shadedeggesphotography and (yet again!) that sculpture is to die for. their instagram is always super inspiring, too!
  7. this bedroom had me at bonjour, because — ah, you guessed it — her fabulous vintage portrait painting perched above that beautiful bed. we’ve got a couple of great paintings in super marché right now should you like to get the look.
  8. this perfectly styled countertop styled by Jenn Elliott Blake just makes me happy. i imagine the woodpile eventually building a warm, cozy fire, and the placement of the vintage painting, mirror, and glass cloche just looks sublime. simple, but beautiful.
