friday greetings, y’all. i know it was a short week, but for some reason, i’m so very ready for the weekend, how about you? i think when summer comes we just automatically crave some downtime, a sunny holiday somewhere far away from our daily work and responsibilities. i think i need to start planning a vacation somewhere exotic and soon! in the meantime, here’s some eclectic inspiration for you. have a great weekend, everyone!

xo, victoria

  1. i love this room and i so admire the work of its owner — italian Interior architect, designer, and collector giacomo totti. his signature look is eclectic, bohemian, and quite beautiful.
  2. farrow & ball has some of the most beautiful paint colors around and these dramatic pink ‘rangwali’ walls just grabbed my attention immediately. i sometimes wish i had the kind of home that could soak up this much color, but for now, i just admire it from afar. i also love that funky upholstery fabric on the chair (with wheels!), too.
  3. this is such a wonderful vintage modern mix. i love the pop art paired with the vintage furnishing and especially that lovely old radiator — it may be in slight decay but it just adds charm.
  4. this is such a simple yet effective entryway vignette and i think it’s very much about the pale pink color palette paired with the beautiful burst of yellow acacia branches. i’ve got some of those growing out in our yard so i may just steal this look!
  5. i just adore everything about this beautiful, moody but very colorful image from @lucindachambers, former British Vogue fashion director. her entire instagram feed is most inspiring — do have a peek. i so admire her very eclectic sense of style.
  6. this is the very inspiring studio of artist Gary Hume found on @theworldofinteriors and photographed by Annabel Elston. the next best thing to sneaking peeks into people’s homes is a glimpse into an artist’s studio.
  7. i’ve become an obsessed fan of sydney, australia-based artist ashleigh holmes’ incredible paintings. their pastel color palette is just kind on the eyes — gentle, dreamy and just deserve space on our walls.
  8. india hobson’s instagram feed is a visual delight and this image with its lovely shadows and light really caught my eye. her entire instagram feed is ‘color coordinated’ and a beautiful and inspiring thing to take your time with.
