well, we’re really globetrotting on this week’s friday finds. we’re all over italy, france, new york, and maine with these spaces and it makes me realize i just gotta make a plan to go somewhere and very soon. who wants to housesit little frances? that’s always the hardest part of traveling for me — leaving my sweet pup at home without me. ack, it breaks my heart every single time, so for now, i guess we’re still armchair traveling. at least my covid is finally gone and i’ve cleared my quarantine period, so i think i may hit up the long beach flea market. hope you have a good weekend planned!

- one of my favorite Instagrammers @overtheocean_com discovered this very dreamy kitchen in Campania, Italy in the magical region of the Amalfi Coast. and apparently, we can visit it, too, because it’s a holiday home from starhost vacation rentals in italy. definitely going on my list.
- here’s another dreamy kitchen, also in italy, this time it’s an ancient farmhouse in puglia that’s been given a modern makeover. i love how those floor-to-ceiling accordion doors open wide to the outside deck. that’s summer living at its finest when it feels like you’re cooking al fresco.
- i love this dreamy home featured on the socialite family. this one’s in Nantes, france — a city on the Loire River. the entire space is full of design inspiration. i highly recommend checking it out.
- okay, well this dreamy spot had my attention immediately. photographed by a favorite of mine, salvo lópez, it’s casa soleto, a palazzo in the heart of Salento, Puglia, close to the sea. i could spend an idle afternoon reading in this beautiful room and happily spend the night here, too. wow.
- this living room is just stunning. i love the way they’ve designed a built-in space for their vinyl record collection. it’s also beautifully photographed by Silvia Gil-Roldán — i’ve just discovered her beautiful photography and am most inspired.
- this home is filled with amazing furniture finds, but it’s this sleek black vitra panton s chair i’m in love with. i’ve always wanted to add one to my own vintage chair collection and this chic juxtaposition with the old doors and antique desk is sublime.
- how about this for a dramatic entrance? this has to be one of the most beautiful foyers i’ve ever seen. featured on est living the entire brooklyn, new york home is pretty darn stunning. have a look.
- some excellent news — interior designer caitlin flemming and her mum Julie Goebel are working on a new book as a follow-up to their first book, travel home, which is an all-time favorite design book of mine. she teased us with this beautiful bedroom on instagram. cannot wait to see their new book!
