This my jam! I've been collecting for many many years and am so in love with every piece. It's such a personal thing, I buy pieces only from living artists, often people I know or will eventually get to know. I have no interest in owning a share in a blue chip artist's painting but rather buying from my big homie Étienne so that he will have money to keep buying paint and canvas. I do have investment pieces that have gone up in value and will one day grace the walls of my villa in Venice à la Peggy Guggenheim but I also have a framed tea towel in my bathroom that is one of my favourite things and a wall of polaroids of phallic graffiti that I have been collecting forever. Mix it up!
