an oldie: wouldn’t we all love a cabin in the woods with loads of rustic charm where we could go to get away from all? yes, please.

it’s very wintery, and i’m aiming to put you in the mood for a woodsy getaway. wouldn’t we all love a cabin in the woods with loads of rustic charm where we could go to get away from all? something small and cozy that was all our own? i might choose an A-frame like this charming one just above as they seem somewhat affordable, and they’re a little bit kitschy and just kind of fun to look at. i even have a pinboard dedicated to the a-frame because there’s something just so charming about a rustic A-frame — like perhaps they were originally built for gnomes. i doubt it, but it’s fun to think about. i’ll take whatever comes my way, however, and if it came with its own lumberjack, even better. i even got him his very own axe and some other lovely cabin accouterment just below. happy camping!

I felt my body relax just perusing these dreamy images. Sigh. Would love to escape to a place like these for a good while. A-Frame, for sure. But I think that black beauty by the water would be first choice. But all so lovely.
