color story: jewel tones.
this week's color story is all about embracing vintage modern and very bohemian jewel tones.
plum, purple, mauve, lavender -- whatever you prefer to call these colors, these rather poetic jewel tones are popping up everywhere. from fall fashion to funky sofas, purple would appear very en vogue. daring shades of pale purple, eggplant, and burgundy paired with soft hues of pale pink and sneaky hints of amber gold make a very soothing, bohemian, and yet dramatically avant-garde decor statement. if you like this rather rock ‘n roll, eclectic vibe — consider swapping out your current throw blankets, cushion covers, or even an area rug with this trending color palette, and you are good to go. this week's color story is like a fine red wine and all about embracing these vintage-modern and romantic jewel tones.
