In the meantime...is there anything else we (collectively) can do to? Smear campaigns of said Company on Social? Better Business Bureau calls? Letters to Senators or Representatives? I don't want the assholes to win. Let's fight!

i am FLUMMOXED by this horrible episode in yours and others creative life. it’s an awfully greedy thing The They do feeding off everything around them. the weight of it is absolutely felt through your sharing about it. i would not characterize this as personal:
it is absolutely professional and creative genocide.

Your blog has been such a source of inspiration from the very beginning, and to think someone is doing this to you (a person who has always shared photographers and artist's work - mine included -with such thoughtfulness and respect) is heartbreaking. I'll continue to be a reader and subscriber, and if the posts are fewer than usual that just means I'll get to treasure them that much more.
Wow! So many questions-like in the state of CA can you be sued retroactively (is there a statute of limitations) for this, espeically since the images no longer exist online? Is there a possible way to gather up the other design bloggers to possibly stop this predatory practice. I mean I had a blog for sometime and had never thought, since it's down, this could happen but possibly I am missing something? Also, we see the use of imagery to enhance people's instagram feeds, will these company go after them as well?
I am so bummed you would have to lay out ANY money AT ALL, I feel as if you were being bullied, since you have been SO good about sourcing imagery to the best of your ability, for YEARS!! I would never have the patience and determination that you have exhibited. On that note, I am an artist, with a big ole studio, feel free to use any of my imagery, just sayin' ;)
