good reads: force of nature.
an inspiring guide to loving what you do from australian creative director and stylist-extraordinaire, jason grant.
one of my favorite stylists and byron bay-based australian creative @mrjasongrant has a brand new book out and it looks like an inspiring addition to any interior design library. his new book, force of nature is a creative guide to love what you do, written, photographed, and published all by jason. welcome to his world — where he’ll share his tips on immersing ourselves in nature to connect with our creativity. jason’s instagram feed has always inspired me to get out into nature and forage — his ideas for displaying unique and unexpected florals are what drew my eye to his work immediately. i now keep pruning shears in my car — just in case some wild flowers or exotic branches catch my eye.
jason is quoted as saying, “nature and creativity go hand in hand for me; they are thoroughly interconnected. nature is what fuels and inspires me,” and i feel this kind of inspiration myself. in force of nature we’ll learn how to activate our creativity with nature as our inspiration — his handbook helps us tap into our best creative selves and offers secret design tips (with over 400 pages of imagery) and insights for home decor, understanding color, style, authenticity, true self and more. here are just a few of my favorite looks from the book.
