i'm drawing inspiration from yves saint laurent's exquisitely quirky color story, and injecting some runway-worthy charm into our homes.
today, i was randomly inspired by the eclectic elegance of one of french fashion designer yves saint laurent's iconic outfits. don't ask me why, but this contrasting, clashy color palette just spoke to me, and it said: “fall”. translating haute couture into interior design is a little like creating a fashion-inspired, whimsical and avant-garde sanctuary. imagine surrounding yourself with the muted, romantic hues of plum, lavender, yellow, and ochre to bring warm tones to your living space while still maintaining a cozy ambiance, and that’s where we’re headed today. fashion-inspired interiors allow you to play with textures, patterns, and color palettes that mimic the glamourous runways of paris fashion week, so why not channel your inner fashionista and experiment with ysl-inspired interior design and have a little fun — all within the comfort of your own home? i say, oui — why not?
