shop small: folkling.
the ultimate resource for repurposed and recycled goods — scouring vintage finds and giving them all new life — just for us.
what i loved best about @folkling when i first stumbled upon their very inspiring instagram feed is their very sustainable venture to find new homes for old things and create quality heritage goods with fellow artists and makers. folkling is the ultimate source for repurposed and recycled goods — scouring their vintage resources and giving them all new life — all for us. whether it’s charming antique quilts, well-worn denim and well-loved linen, or sublimely clever camisoles repurposed from patchwork fabrics, founders leney and owen collections are uniquely inspiring.
folkling is in the business of saving old things, giving them a fresh modern twist, and sharing their stories with us with a truly unique eye. their homewares and clothing collections are all available online, and at the end of 2020 the creative couple also opened a brick-and-mortar shop in a little town in virginia called gordonsville. their online journal is full of useful inspiration, as well — like features on mending and useful uses for old clothespins. so welcome to folkling — i hope you find as much inspiration from this sustainably conscious and forward-thinking couple as i have.
