welcome to one of new orleans' best homewares boutiques and an interior designer's dream come true.
i first fell in love with sunday shop on a trip to new orleans for my friends’ wedding. had i not had a suitcase full of wedding ensembles i might have chucked them all to make room for sunday shop’s incredible inventory of eclectic homewares, original artwork, and decor items. the small brick and mortar boutique on magazine street (my favorite street to shop in nola) is just as charming and well-styled as its merchandise, which includes a unique mix of vintage and new. their furniture is well-fringed with a touch of velvet but never overdone — actually, it’s done just right. luckily, if you haven’t got a trip to the big easy on your immediate agenda, you can shop online, and interior designers can sign up for their trade program. take a look at their online inspiration journal, too, and welcome to sunday shop.
