I'll get to the spot via the métro at about 21h30 pleasantly pompette (lightly, pleasantly buzzed) after a pre-game bottle of champagne at the house. We'll dance and get loud until midnight, toast, faire la bise (kiss everyone on the cheeks), text everyone not present, crack another bottle for good measure, and peace out by 1h00 because transport is hectic on the 31st, good luck getting an Uber, and I'm still worn out from Christmas. Also, we'll be doing the same thing next week for another b-day party. À Paris on fait la fête sans cesse ! 🎉🍾🎊

I actually was in Paris for New Year’s Eve in the early 80s. I spent the evening with a French family and the food was delicious.
