books. i can never have enough, so for today’s wear this there, i thought we’d travel to one of my favorites, and california’s largest new and used book shop, the last bookstore in downtown los angeles. i’ve been coming to dtla’s quirky bookshop for years, and it’s always a visit well-spent for me. at 22,000 square feet, i dare you to leave the last bookstore without a book or two in your bag or perhaps some original vinyl records if you also happen to be a music collector. located in a hundred-year-old bank building, this epic bookstore is known for its funky decor, with its big red neon sign and sculptural books abounding — there’s even a book tunnel to get lost in. ready? grab your biggest book bag, and let’s go.
